The other night as my husband and I were getting our home decorated for the holiday, one of my favorite songs started playing in the background, “Silver Bells”. As I listened to the words, “In the air there's a feeling of Christmas. Children laughing, people passing meeting smile after smile and on every street corner you'll hear ~ silver bells, silver bells and its Christmas time in the city.” It sounded beautiful and for those few minutes, as I sang along, I forgot what was going on in the world.
As the year ends, I have been reflecting on the events, challenges and accomplishments of 2020. It will be a year to remember; a year hard to forget. Shifting my in-person presence to an online service is not easy especially for small business owners and I have had my share of sleepless nights filled with excitement of all the ideas I had and wondering how I was going to implement them with my current skill sets. For those following me I hope you enjoy my Instagram and Facebook posts, blogs/e-newsletters and my pictures. I am not a professional photographer and try my best to take good pictures but I hear more often than not that when my customers receive their order they are pleasantly surpised. The products are so much better in person!
This holiday season, I have asked my close family and friends not to buy me a Christmas gift. Instead, gift me five minutes out of their day to review my business on Google, Facebook or Instagram, just give a shout out or just like a post and I would like to ask you to do the same. It would mean a lot to me and most importantly my business.
Thank you and Happy Holidays!
